Dubai is one of few cities during 2021 that has opened back for tourists. What’s different this time is that some of the Dubai hotels have dropped their prices to really affordable rates. This makes it a perfect time for first-time tourists to visit Dubai.
Breathtaking architecture and a unique blend of diverse cultures are some of the details that sum up a city like Dubai. With high-quality restaurants, mouth-watering cuisines, and the biggest shopping centers, you may not be moving back if you take a vacation in this city. From the top luxury hotels to affordable ones, planning a holiday in Dubai requires that you review options best suited for your needs. This can be a long task for first-time visitors!
That’s why I have compiled a list of some of the best hotels in Dubai to provide a variety of options based on choice and affordability.
Dubai Luxury Hotels (5 star hotels in Dubai)
Jumeirah Al Naseem
This beautiful resort has some amazing features that are mind-blowing. Some parts of the resort include; a hot tub and water sports facilities, a spa, and a private beach area. You can also find free buggies for your way around the resort. Jumeirah Al Naseem is located in Madinat Jumeirah Dubai. It’s one of the most luxurious beach hotels in Dubai with two kilometres of pristine private beach with iconic views of Burj Al Arab and the Gulf. The décor is modern compared to the arabesque look of neighbouring resorts like ‘Mina A’Salam’ and ‘Jumeirah Al Qasr’. The three luxurious number of restaurants, bars, pools, walking area and a stunning private beach limited to hotel guests only.
Planning to go all fancy, you can have a vacation in the most iconic and tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa.
Armani Hotel is your condo space for exclusive luxury hotel stay. Armani offers luxury contemporary living and fine dining. It’s elegantly styled accommodation is placed within some of the world’s finest shopping and entertainment centers as well as connected to the world’s largest The Dubai Mall. Besides shopping and stunning fountain shows, your nightlife experience is guaranteed here. Don’t get me started on the signature retail outlets, and the spa, it’s a cool spot to stay if you fancy a luxury Dubai holiday!
Another great place you should look out for is the Bulgari Resort. Nestled on the Island in Jumeirah Bay, the Dubai hotel consists of a 500 square-meter villa that has a pool and a 500-square meter garden with a private home cinema, and indoor Jacuzzi. The Bulgari resort is a combination of luxury and class.
The Yacht Club is my favourite part. Nestled at the end of Marina, the yacht club is on 46-boat harbour gives it a Mediterranean atmosphere. That’s not all, there is choice of some fine dining restaurants like Niko Romito Italian cuisine, Hoseki Japanese cuisine and the Yacht club restaurant that offers sumptuous dishes close to the yacht club. A combination of dining options with stunning views make it a perfect staycation spot.
This Italian grandeur is a masterpiece. Built with the Italian historic designs, Palazzo Versace is located at Jaddaff Waterfront which is only 15 minutes from the Dubai International Airport. Just a walk through the 5-star hotel reveals some of the exclusive designs and fabrics from Versace. It also features lagoon pools and ponds that complement the serenity of the lush greens that surround the hotel. The ballroom for weddings and other social events are also one of the things that make the hotel the best place for leisure and business but also a connected private beach makes Palazzo Versace one of the best holiday hotels in Dubai
Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah
Planning a Dubai helicopter tour from your hotel’s helipad? This is the right hotel for you. With a peacock alley, glazing marble reception, afternoon teas with a pianist setting the afternoon mood, Waldorf Astoria has it all one can ask from a luxury hotel stay in Dubai. The facilities include tennis courts, water sports hub, three pools and amazing spa. Almost all rooms come with a sea-facing balcony giving you a stunning panoramic view of the Palm Jumeirah Beaches.
Beach hotels in Dubai
Looking for a great place to stay, relax and get a tan? Here’s a list of some beach hotels in Dubai.
Anantara Dubai the Palm Resort and Spa
It is located at Palm Jumeirah off the coast of Dubai. I love the three swimming lagoons with water sports and long-tail bloating. I could not resist the view of Dubai’s only overwater villas with lagoon access rooms. The serene atmosphere with long white beach sands and the sky-blue water is an enchanting experience!
Set around the endearing tropical gardens, and bright golden beach sand, it is the ideal escape spot. I was thrilled with its stunning beachfront setting and beautiful attraction for couples and families to unwind. Three things I love most is this hotel are, incredible breakfast and dining options for here in the JBR area, a cinema just at a walking distance and a 24 hour JBR Beach access. Ask the reception if they can give you a room facing beach side so you can have the sea views and some sun so you can just tan in your balcony.
Andaz The Palm
Andaz The Palm is one of the choicest spots to enjoy a staycation in Dubai. The luxury boutique hotel is a newly launched concept by Hyatt. Strategically located in Palm Jumeirah, Andaz Dubai offers premium service with very trendy and vibrant interior and decor and exquisite cuisine. It has got a small but stunning pool area, and a fitness center, direct access to the palm and the mall and a beach access (ofcourse being on the palm). Aside from the amazing atmosphere, you get world-class guest treatment.
I could go on and on about the room interiors and how they seem to be like from a movie set, but to see it for yourself you can check my detailed Andaz The Palm Review along with the photographs from this hotel.
